Did you know that every year large numbers of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds migrate from Central America, where they spend the winter, to Raymond B. Winter State Park? They can be found throughout the park feeding on flowers and insects but can most often be found at the park office where staff place several feeders that can attract several dozen Hummingbirds at a time in the spring and summer!
Next time you're at the park make sure to stop by the office to check out they these small, swift birds!
