SnowFest 2024 Recap!

A huge thank you to everyone who helped to make this year's SnowFest such a fantastic event! Nearly a thousand people showed up to enjoy a beautiful late winter day at the Park, run in the trail race organized by the Mid Penn Trailblazers, visit with Smokey Bear, learn about the non-profit organizations that organized activities and crafts, and bid on items in the silent auction.

When all is said and done, between the silent auction, the sale of merchandise by the Friends, and donations, you helped to raise nearly $6,000 for R. B. Winter State Park in a single afternoon! A new SnowFest record! Your support of this wonderful slice of Penns Woods means the world to all of us. We can't thank everyone who came out to enjoy an afternoon in the Park, the generous donors to the silent auction, the Mid-Penn Trailblazers, R. B. Winter Concessions, the staff from R. B. Winter State Park and Bald Eagle State Forest, the representatives from the various organizations, and all of our volunteers enough for everything that you did to make the afternoon such a success.

If you won an item in the silent auction and weren't at the Park to pick it up Sunday afternoon, you will have already heard from the Friends regarding payment and picking up your winning items.

The Friends would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff of R. B. Winter State Park and the staff and volunteers of the agencies and organizations who helped make SnowFest such a great day!
